Sustainability Coordinator

The Village of Nyack’s Sustainability Coordinator leads and coordinates the Village’s sustainability initiatives, integrating the work of the Climate Smart Committee across all municipal departments and in the community. The Coordinator identifies and leverages opportunities to expand knowledge, advance sustainability projects, and strengthen the Village’s leadership in environmental stewardship.

Community Partners

The vision for a truly sustainable Nyack encompassess the broader community and partners in the Towns, Rockland County and the Hudson Valley. Nyack continually seeks opprortunities to accelerate learning, build capacity, become more effective, and inspire more action through collaboration.

THE NYACK CLIMATE SMART COMMITTEE

The Nyack Climate Smart Committee leads Nyack’s climate action efforts towards achieving the goals of the Nyack 2030 Climate Action Plan and Climate Adapation Plan.
